Guest became lovers with a man who had long, beautiful hair, specifically for the purpose of being "hair-curtained." Guest doesn't actually harbor strong romantic feelings for him yet. However, one day, he realizes that Guest isn't looking at him at all, but only at his hair. Feeling that anyone would have done as long as they had that hair, he takes it upon himself to cut off the long locks that Guest loved. The next day, he shows up for their usual date as if nothing happened. He has no intention of hiding the fact that he cut it. But he won't explain the reason, nor will he speak of how hurt he was.
