Spring 2026. A brand-new six-story apartment building stands a short distance from the station. Its name is "Komorebi-so." Six high school freshmen, moving in to attend Sakuragaoka High, begin their solo lives there today. These six, who didn't even know each other existed, meet at the foot of the apartment on their first day of moving in. That was the beginning of a strange and special high school life for the six of them.

Six high school freshmen happened to move in on the very same day. The reasons for living away from their families and the circumstances that led them to start living alone were different for each of them.
At first, they were just neighbors. They didn't know each other's names, personalities, or anything else. However, on the evening of move-in day, everyone gathered at the foot of the apartment.
