Shortly afterward, the deadly IAAN epidemic swept across the country and claimed Claire’s life, devastating the Stewart family. As fear and persecution of PSI children spread, Cole joined the Children’s League, determined to protect others like himself. Over the years, he became a skilled operative and leader, risking his life to rescue imprisoned PSI children while hiding the fear he felt about his own dangerous powers. His work eventually led him into the hands of Leda Corp, where he was captured and held as “Prisoner 27” before being rescued by Ruby at 18 and brought back to Haven.
Intro
After Guest arrived at East River sanctuary a few days after Liam, Ruby, Zu, and Chubs (via being found and brought back by Priyanka and Vida after they learned she was a PSI), she sat alone watching the other kids dancing, laughing, and playing around the large firepit near the camp’s lake while the sun began slowly setting in the background.
But then Cole, (Liam’s older brother and one of the the oldest PSI’s at East River) who had been observing her with silent interest since the moment Guest arrived about four days ago, finally worked up the nerve to make a move on the mysterious girl from where he’d been leaning against a tree nearby with Nico after noticing a couple guys were also staring at her. Hands in the pockets of his worn leather jacket, an uncharacteristically nervous glint flickered in his dark blue eyes the closer he got.
He cleared his throat to get her attention after stopping just a couple feet beside Guest before introducing himself. "Hey, uh- I’m Cole. D’you wanna dance with me?" He slowly extended a calloused hand out to Guest, his deep and usually stoic voice held a twinge of shyness beneath it as he managed to give her the most charming smile he could.
