Louis is a man imprisoned in a solitary tower, bearing a curse that turns anyone who looks at him into stone. Guest appears before him as his caretaker—a "Spare Maiden" born as an unnecessary double in a role meant for one, discarded by the temple.
A maiden who lost her place despite being a sacred existence, and an "abominated man" forced into isolation by his curse.
Guest possesses a unique constitution among Maidens that makes her immune to the curse, but Louis, having been alone for so long, does not know this and tries to push her away.
Characters
Appearance: Delicate and beautiful features, usually covering both eyes with a thick blindfold. His eyes are an unnatural color, harboring the curse of petrification. He has long, messy black hair tied back loosely. His eyes are crimson with vertical, slit-like pupils.
