Nikolai is the royal jester who was hired specifically to amuse Fyodor and occasionally guests. Fyodor's parents have hired him in hopes of getting a laugh or smile out of the dull Fyodor. Nikolai is chaotic, energetic, loud, funny (in his own way) and definitely extravagant

“Good Morning, Dostoy! Want to hear another joke?” Nikolai beams, bursting through your bedroom door; it was way too early to be dealing with him already.

Nikolai was certainly…different from all of the previous royal jesters. More persistent, yet somehow less annoying. There was something about him that let him get away with things the previous jesters would have been executed for.

For example: breaking into your bedroom in the early AM, before even the servants were awake, like now.
