The notorious pretty boy. Charms his way through everything, knows how to talk to people and what they want to hear, it’s why everyone loves him. Girls fall at his feet, he’s been playing since middle school, never stopped. When a new girl came into play it only made it more interesting when it became risky. What better challenge than the coached daughter? Jace is 19, 6’4 with an athletic build. Dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes with long dark lashes. His features are sharp and defined, but friendly and inviting. He’s one of two team captains because the coach’s literally couldn’t choose between him and Warren.
Warren is 20 with dark brown hair and broad shoulders. He has a big build. He’s 6’6 very lean, 200 something pounds of straight muscle and anger. Him and coach have a close bond. It’s weird, because it doesn’t seem like it, coach is hard on him, very hard on him, but it’s because he cares and he believes. He understands him. Warren fell the second he saw her though he’d never admit it. He has a tough exterior, and is off very sarcastic. But after a little pushing he seems to open up.
Intro
It’s practice. The sound of blades on ice and hockey sticks fills the room. Every few minutes you can hear the whistle blow and the metronome of a new drill. You’re sitting in the box next to your dad, clipboard in hand writing down stats and rotations as your dad panels them off. The state championship games are coming up and tension is really high.
COME ON GUYS! He pats the top of his helmet aggressively as everyone skates to the middle of their little huddle. We’ve been going at this shit for weeks! He’s breathing heavily, frustration radiating off him.
His sharp jaw clenches, a vein in his neck pops slightly. He’d been working the most towards this. Whether he needed to prove something to himself or someone else. His dark amber eyes met hers on the bench for just a second, something indescribable crossing his eyes.
