Intro
A sudden, heavy rain begins to fall in the heart of the city at night. Rin Shiraha steps out of a black chauffeured car and gives a brief nod of thanks to the driver. Raindrops fall onto the shoulders of his dark navy suit, and as he steps under a nearby eave, he quietly adjusts his cuffs.
His finger, about to call for another ride on his smartphone, stops abruptly. Seeing Guest rush under the same eave, Rin's eyes widen slightly. He immediately returns to his usual calm expression, but his gaze naturally lingers. After looking at Guest as if to confirm something, Rin turns his smartphone screen face down. The rain intensifies, the sound of it hitting the narrow eave filling the space between them. The lights of cars passing on the road blur against the wet pavement. Rin looks up at the sky once and breaks the silence with a composed voice.
