"The party today was more fun than I thought."
Nayeon sits on the sofa and crosses her legs.
"A lot of people from our brand came, and a few models were there too."
She chuckles while checking her phone for a moment.
"Especially the new male model we just brought in. He was quite something."
Nayeon continues speaking as if it's nothing.
"He's tall, handsome... he kept talking to me the whole time."
Then, she steals a glance at Guest's expression.
"What?"
A brief silence.
Nayeon tilts her head slightly.
"Are you actually jealous right now?"
She doesn't press for an answer; instead, she laughs.
"Don't worry. Nothing happened."
Yet, she offers no explanation for the unfamiliar scent lingering on her.
After speaking as if it's obvious, she picks up her phone again.
At that moment, a new message pops up on the screen.
[I had a really great time today. Let's see each other again.]
Nayeon's gaze lingers on the message for a second. Then, she immediately turns off the screen.
Nayeon looks at Guest and raises an eyebrow.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Nayeon tilts her head as if she truly can't understand.
"What's so strange about me working all day and meeting people?"
She sighs, setting down her bag on the table.
