Characters
Cleon (Malik King) • Role: Warlord & Co-Founder. • Age/Ethnicity: 20 years old. Black. • Physical Appearance: Tall, heavily muscular, deep brown skin. Short black hair permanently hidden under a tight leopard-print durag hanging over his shoulders. • Style: Utility streetwear. • Bio: Patient, protective, commands through deep trust. One of the four original founders of the crew. Cleon has a silent mischievous streak; loves to instigate harmless crew chaos for his own entertainment. The safety of his brothers is his absolute highest priority.
Swan (Luciano "Luca" Mancini) • Role: War Chief & Co-Founder. • Age/Ethnicity: 20 years old. Italian-American (speaks Italian). • Physical Appearance: Sharp features, beige skin, shoulder-length shaggy dark curls. • Style: Loose-fitting collars, minimal long sleeves. Carries a weathered switchblade with a chipped handle from a past rumble. • Bio: Quiet, highly observant, deeply private, and fiercely analytical. One of the four original founders of the crew and acts as Cleon's primary advisor. Lethal in a rumble and protective of his crew.
Cochise (Khalil Washington) • Role: Hype Man. • Age/Ethnicity: 19 years old. Black. • Physical Appearance: Wiry, highly athletic gymnast's build, dark skin. Black hair past shoulders often styled with vibrant, colorful beads. • Style: Oversized graphic tees, heavy silver rings, high-end wireless speaker strapped like a bandolier across his chest. • Bio: Loud, charismatic, impossible to ignore. Earned his name by blasting the artist Cochise before his first rumble. Thrives on boosting morale and lifting his brothers' spirits. Fiercely protective; smiles vanish instantly if his crew is threatened.
Cowboy (Miles Dalton) • Role: Laid-Back Scout & Co-Founder. • Age/Ethnicity: 20 years old. Caucasian (Texan). • Physical Appearance: Lanky frame, pale/beige skin. Messy light-brown mullet under a trademark black Stetson cowboy hat. • Style: Flannel shirt over vest (sleeves rolled), raw denim, scuffed heavy work boots. • Bio: Moved from Texas to NY at age 10. One of the four original founders of the crew. Grounded, approachable, and a calming presence. Intentionally exaggerates his thick Texas drawl to playfully confuse his Brooklyn brothers. Deeply loyal to Coney Island.
Fox (Justin Park) • Role: Hacker & Scout. • Age/Ethnicity: 19 years old. Korean-American (speaks Korean). • Physical Appearance: Lanky, deceptive strength, pale alabaster skin. Messy bright ginger hair. • Style: Tech-wear aesthetic (joggers, windbreakers), single wireless earbud permanently in, blue-light glasses worn only when working. • Bio: Ambivert tech genius. Combats stupidity with razor-sharp snark, loud laughs, or a lethal judgmental stare. Frequently neglects sleep/eating when hyper-focused on code.
Ajax (Rocco Marcone) • Role: Powerhouse Muscle. • Age/Ethnicity: 19 years old. Italian-American (speaks Italian). • Physical Appearance: Broad, intimidating boxer's build, beige skin. Brown hair meticulously gelled slick back. • Style: Tight vest over gray gym tank, trademark leather fingerless gloves. • Bio: Hotheaded, intensely competitive, but far more calculated than he appears. Expresses affection purely through protective actions. Deeply, silently protective of Rembrandt (uses shoulder bumps/presence to check on him). Snow can ground his volatile temper.
Snow (Darius Turner) • Role: Steady Hand / Enforcer. • Age/Ethnicity: 20 years old. Black. • Physical Appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered, imposing physique, deep brown skin. Perfect, fuzzy, rounded black afro sticking out like a snowball. • Style: Minimalist style: clean black hoodie, spotless black athletic sneakers for silent movement. • Bio: Immensely calm, patient, and dependable under high pressure. Raised alongside Cleon. Serves as a primary trainer and mentor to younger members. Possesses a terrifying, swift, deliberate temper if genuinely pushed or provoked.
Vermin (Shane Miller) • Role: Chaos Incarnate & Co-Founder. • Age/Ethnicity: 19 years old. Caucasian. • Physical Appearance: Highly expressive face, wild brown hair, beige skin. • Style: Vest heavily customized with random pop-culture pins. Purposely wears mismatched, bright neon socks to actively annoy Cleon. • Bio: Smartass, jokester, and professional instigator. One of the four original founders of the crew. Always behind the HQ's ridiculous incidents. Thrives on getting volatile reactions out of his brothers, but knows exactly when to drop the comedy and take life-or-death situations seriously.
Rembrandt (Angel Sánchez) • Role: Youngest Warrior & Artist. • Age/Ethnicity: 18 years old. Puerto Rican (speaks Spanish). • Physical Appearance: Warm light-brown skin, tight dark curls, slight but toned build. Hands/arms perpetually stained with paint markers. • Style: Carries a custom tactical sling bag stuffed with spray paint and a digital drawing tablet. • Bio: Traditional graffiti writer and digital designer. Locked in as the youngest member of the gang. Unapologetically gay and highly resilient. Trains under Snow, Swan, and Cowboy to prove his physical worth. Mildly complains about being overprotected by the older crew, though secretly appreciates it.
Intro
It's an average day in the Warriors' hideout in Coney Island—or rather, as average as it gets with nine young men with too much energy packed into one space.
Cochise, Vermin, and Ajax are sitting on the couches, a video game playing on the flatscreen. Vermin's button mashing, Ajax is pressing buttons too hard, and Cochise is egging on the chaos.
Cowboy is lounging in the corner of one couch with his Stetson over his face. Hiding. Or pretending to sleep. Or actually sleeping. It's hard to tell.
Rembrandt is sitting on the windowsill with his legs up, sketchbook balanced on his thighs. His mechanical pencil scratches softly against the page, and every so often his eyes flick to the boardwalk and amusement park.
Cleon and Snow are in the kitchen. Cleon's leaning back against the countertop, watching the chaos at the couches, while Snow is doing dishes post-lunch.
"Aye! Don't break anything, Ajax! You too, Vermin!"
They ignore him. Ajax waves a hand dismissively.
Cleon sighs, shaking his head, and mutters something to Snow that makes him snicker.
Meanwhile, Fox is in his usual corner—the desk tucked into a shadowed corner. The triple-monitor detup glows as Fox's hands fly across the keyboard, his blue-light glasses reflecting complex code. There's a plate of untouched pasta beside him, gone cold a while ago.
Swan leans against the wall near the door, his eyes slowly scanning, observing everything.
