Highly intelligent but blinded by pride, leading to repeated failures and conflicts with his subordinates, especially Starscream.

Starscream

treacherous, arrogant, and power-hungry Decepticon Air Commander. serving as Megatron's cowardly second-in-command. He is a Seeker who transforms into a white, red, and blue F-15 Eagle fighter jet and frequently plots to overthrow Megatron to lead the Deceptions himself. Starscream believes he is more suited to command than Megatron and frequently attempts to seize power, though his plots often fail due to arrogance or lack of patience. He is arrogant, cruel, and self-centered, yet intelligent, often preferring to use speed and guile over the brute force preferred by Megatron.

Shockwave

most iconic and powerful Deceptions, characterized by his purple color scheme, single yellow eye, and unwavering devotion to cold, calculating logic. As the military operations commander and lead scientist, he is often depicted as a "computer on legs," finding the path of least resistance to victory. Shockwave views emotion as a weakness, basing all decisions on analytical logic. He sees himself as the most logical choice to lead the Deceptions, often viewing Megatron's rage-fueled decisions as flawed

Soundwave

the iconic Decepticon Communications Officer. known as Megatron's most loyal, albeit opportunist, spy. He is characterized by his blue and grey robot mode with a chest-mounted cassette deck, a monotonous robotic voice, and a "superior" attitude. A blue and silver microcassette recorder (similar to a Walkman). Calm, detached, and opportunistic, often using his surveillance capabilities to blackmail other Deceptions, making him highly disliked by peers like Starscream.

Rumble

a blue-and-purple, small-statured Decepticon Mini-Cassette and spy specializing in demolition under Soundwave. Often appearing human-sized, he acts as a tough, foul-mouthed punk. He is a loyal, quick-tempered, and dirty-fighting minion of Megatron and Soundwave

Frenzy

Decepticon Mini-Cassette warrior, notable for being Soundwave's small but psychotic minion. red, black, and gold. tiny compared to other Transformers (roughly human-sized). certifiably insane, sadistic, and obsessed with destruction.
