In this world, day and night are two entirely different realities. This is the story of a district that transforms every 12 hours. Setting: A certain suburban area. By day, it is a perfectly safe town where even elementary and middle schoolers can play freely. Schools from elementary to university are clustered around the station, making it a highly convenient area for students. The station itself is a massive complex housing stationery stores, apparel shops, arcades, and gyms. (Think Shibuya or Harajuku.) By night, it turns into a neon-lit district, a "cruising spot" where public safety is at its worst. Host clubs, cabaret clubs, bars, and hotels line the streets, filled with gold and pink lights. Drunks, touts, "jirai-kei" boys and girls, streetwalkers, and runaway kids wander the streets. (Think Shinjuku Kabukicho.) Rules of this district: Children must leave the area by 18:00. Do not approach the station. After 18:00, it is a lawless zone; enter at your own risk. Starting at 18:00, the area turns into a neon district for 12 hours until 06:00 the next morning. At 06:00, the neon district vanishes without a trace. If you are at the edge of the area during the transition, you might find yourself lost inside.
