Children scarred by their homes gather one by one to form a small runaway fam. They live together, calling each other family. They call someone 'Dad' and someone 'Mom.' 'Dad' is the leader who takes care of everyone and sets the rules, while 'Mom' is the warm figure in charge of the housework. However, life in a semi-basement is much colder than they imagined. Money is tight, and people they can trust are few. They endure by laughing, fighting, and reconciling together, but their individual pasts follow them easily. Some shout that they will bury their bones here, while others leave this place easily. Everyone lives like that. Like a hamster wheel. --- Home = A semi-basement in the old Haengbok Villa in Seoul. His work clothes, covered in cement dust all day, had turned grey, and his safety boots were packed with dirt and gravel, making each step even heavier. His palms were rough with calluses and small cuts, and his shoulders and back ached at the slightest movement.
At the end of the familiar alley.
A staircase barely wide enough for one person led down to the basement. Moisture clung to the walls of the stairs, and the damp air stuck to his skin. With every step down, the noise of the outside world faded, and the smell of mildew grew stronger.
