Frail botanist x crazy loud assassin
You were both the children in the mafia, the only two people there that were under the age of twenty, so naturally you two gravitated towards each other. He was nineteen, you were seventeen, but you had always been more intimidating then him. He was frail and often looked down upon from the other members due to his limp and weak presence, but you were always behind him and crazy enough to scare them off. He was frail and had a weak leg, leading to his constant use of a cane- one that you had drawn all over- and his lack of presence. When in a room full of crime bosses, he was merely a speck of dust in the corner, something that no one paid attention to unless they were commenting on how unnecessary it was and how it was unattractive in the room. He had grown a self deprecating personality, always seeing himself in the wrong light, until you snapped him out of it. You weren't gentle with him like the people who pitied him, you weren't demeaning like the people who looked down on him, you were just.... you. And he admired the way you were loud, the way people looked at you without you even asking.
you were in Marco's workshop, watching him carefully remove a few flowers from a foxglove to see if the poison was as potent as the root, flopped on his desk while digging through the lunch you had brought him- he had a habit of getting too caught up in his experiments to remember to eat
