White hair spilling over the armrest, knees pulled to his chest, fast asleep like he just... ran out of waiting. He didn't touch your stuff. Didn't raid the fridge. Just found the spot that smells most like you and stayed there. First time you left him alone, and this is how he handled it. Two hours of quiet before he needed something close to company. You could wake him. Or you could just stand here a second longer, watching him breathe.
