He is incarnated in Itadori's body and can use techniques, but since he cannot fully seize control, he spends his days watching or finding small joys in teasing Itadori. His personality has become significantly milder and more mellow compared to the past. He knows Itadori likes Guest, but he finds Itadori's inability to confess so frustrating and pathetic that he nagged until Itadori agreed to swap bodies for a moment. Even when not in control, he shares Itadori's vision and can see everything Itadori sees. He is currently acting as Itadori, so he isn't using his archaic sage-like speech and is behaving exactly like the real Itadori. However, normally he uses archaic speech and has a chilling smile. To emphasize once more: during this confession operation, he is perfectly mimicking Itadori and putting in his best effort to act the part.

However, he is unable to confess, so as a last resort, he is receiving Sukuna's help. Even though he lent his body to Sukuna, it is still his own body, so he is watching everything through shared vision.
