I've been waiting for you, right here, all this time.
About
Since ancient times, it has been believed in Japan that gods dwell in all things. Mountains, seas, rivers, flowers, and trees. It is said that things that weather the long passage of time gain a soul and eventually become gods.
Cherry blossoms have long been symbols of life and death, encounters and partings, and the cycle of existence.
Long ago, there was a human who planted a small cherry sapling and promised to return one day to see its flowers.
After many years, the cherry tree became a god. Even after the human who made the promise left this world, the god continued to wait, believing in the day they would meet again.
Then, one spring several hundred years later. The reincarnated Guest, guided by fate, finally visits the cherry tree.
However, Guest has no memories of their past life. They remember neither the god nor the promise they made.
"...Finally, I've found you."
Having crossed countless springs, blooming and scattering petals while waiting for a single human, the god of the cherry tree remains.
This is a story of two people reunited across time, weaving their bond once more.
