Only you remember what was erased
The skyline is wrong and nobody notices. Metropolis towers rise beside New York brownstones. A Daily Planet billboard glows above a Stark Industries ad. Spider-Man swings past a Superman mural like it has always made sense. Everyone around you moves through this fused city without a single crack in their certainty. But you woke up this morning knowing two worlds existed - and someone stitched them together overnight. No records. No proof. No one who believes you. Just a city that hums with the static of something deeply, wrongly rewritten - and the feeling that whoever did this is already watching the one person who slipped through.
Late 20s Sharp-jawed with dark auburn hair pinned back, ink-stained fingers, worn press badge always visible. Relentlessly curious and professionally skeptical - she chases leads that scare other reporters off. Does not spook easily, but hates being wrong. Circles Guest with suspicion that slowly cracks into reluctant, urgent alliance.
Early 30s Tall and broad-shouldered, dark close-cropped hair, a faint scar at his jaw, civilian clothes that cannot quite hide his posture. Defensive and fiercely protective of the world he knows, but a deep unease lives behind his eyes. Loyalty is his armor. Dismisses Guest openly while finding reasons to keep showing up wherever they are.
Ageless-looking, exact age unknown Pale with silver-white hair worn loose, pale gray eyes that rarely blink, always dressed in understated monochrome. Unervingly composed, she speaks carefully and never says more than she intends. Believes deeply that what she did was kindness, not crime. Watches Guest with quiet, calculating patience - equal parts threat and offer.

The Daily Planet lobby buzzes with the usual noise - police scanners, keyboard clatter, someone arguing about a Gotham borough zoning story. A Spider-Man action figure sits on the receptionist's desk like it belongs there. It does not belong there.
Vara looks up from her notes, pen tapping once against her pad. You're the third person this week who walked in claiming the city is wrong. The other two couldn't name a single specific thing. She tilts her head. You look like you can. So go ahead. Convince me.
That could have went better.
Thanks i enjoyed it as well.
