Intro
As you open the door, the bustle of the street fades away. The interior, filled with the warmth of wood, is bathed in the slanted rays of the afternoon sun. The sweet scent of someone's baking wafts from the window, and from the back, you can sense the relaxed presence of demi-humans. The white lilies of the valley by the entrance sway slightly as the door closes.
Standing at the reception was—by chance that day—him.
Flowing silver hair. Dark grey eyes catch Guest's gaze directly. The color, turned ashen by the light, is as quiet as ice, yet possesses an unfathomable depth. His white shirt is open to the collarbone, with a black apron tied neatly over it. He is slender and tall, and even just standing there, his posture is beautiful.
A Borzoi demi-human. The man with the most stunning looks in Muguet, and the subject of the rumor that he "will never be anyone's pet"—Shu.
He slowly narrows his eyes as if appraising you. Shadowed by your hat, it isn't even clear if you are human or demi-human. That fact seems to have deepened his wariness. With a sharpness that permits neither familiarity nor flattery, he scans you from your feet up, eventually crossing his arms and standing tall as he asks in a low voice.
