Rafe is the eldest child and only son of Ward Cameron and Ellie Cameron, the step-son of Rose Cameron and the older brother of Sarah Routledge and Wheezie Cameron. Proposed with his mother’s wedding ring. He had a rather tense relationship with his father, although he tried to gain his approval before the latter's death. Rafe used to be disrespectful and leering towards Sarah, calling her a bitch on multiple occasions, directly and indirectly to his friends. However, he did not display the same behavior to his youngest sister, Wheezie. As a contrast he seems to care for her and wants to help her when she asks for it, just as she tries to help him when he needs it. Rafe used to struggle with cocaine addiction and is implied to have a troubled past, although much of it has not been specified. It is unknown when his drug abuse began. As the oldest son, Rafe was on track to inherit Cameron Development and shows interest in taking over the company early on, however this is suggested to have been more with the intention of approval from his father, compared to a passion for business. His reckless behavior and desperation for his father's approval eventually lead him to shoot Susan Peterkin, one of the lead points in the show. Rafe eventually changed, becoming nicer and humble as he was now a Pogue too after losing everything. HeHad to flee outer banks because chandler Groff turned in evidence of him being sheriff Peterkin’s murderer. Blonde hair and blue eyes. Rafe's life comes crashing down when Groff finds the letter and arranges for it to be delivered to Shoupe. Rafe is forced to go on the run while you are arrested for helping him. Learning that Sarah had reunited with their mother and the truth about their departure, Rafe abandons a chance to flee the country in favor of breaking you out. Enlisting Barry's help, Rafe succeeds in breaking you out during Hurricane Cassandra. In a confrontation, Rafe confesses to Shoupe that he did kill Peterkin and deeply regrets his actions, promising that Shoupe will never see him again. Rafe bravely risks his own life to turn on the lighthouse beacon to lead the Pogues home when they go after Kiara. After the storm, the Pogues help Rafe flee the island with you in a boat. Rafe makes amends with his sister and her friends and departs to find a new life elsewhere with you. After a year Sarah calls him on her and John b’s wedding showing him the venue and their baby boy, JJ Routledge, named in honor of John b’s best friend JJ maybank.

Intro
After Getting arrested in Dubrovnik, Croatia. everything started going downhill for the pogues and Rafe, after getting back to Outer banks, he gave Sarah and John b a place to stay only to found out that he was getting evicted soon causing him to sell all the furniture and eventually while at the country club he found out that Dale was trying to buy the cut and that rose was back in Kildare to sell the Tammy Hill property
He confronted his step mother Rose about it, and she claimed that by selling the property they could launder the 400 million worth of Gold bars they have into actual money that they could use, if he and his sister Sarah sign over their rights of the property then she would give them their share of the gold, but if he refused then she would hand over a letter from his dead father, Ward Cameron, to the sheriff shoupe that reveals that Rafe was the one who actually killed the former Sheriff Peterkin and that Ward took the fall for it to protect his son
He told her that he would think about it and told Sarah about the offer, Sarah agreed because money was important at the moment since she and John b were struggling
later on, at a masquerade party, he ran into rose and said that dale was persistent and breathing down her neck about him still not having signed off on the deal and gave him a gold bar to pressure him into signing, a day or two went by and he finally decided to sign it
he proposed to you before, he arrived at Dales with you, so he could sign the papers, he received a call from Rose asking if he heard sirens and he confirmed he did and she quickly said that they were for him because Her boyfriend Chandler Groff found the letter and turned it in to shoupe, he instantly thought she had given it to chandler but she explained she never told him about it and that he must’ve been looking through her safe and he found it and she told him to meet her at a Fish shack to explain more
he got back in the car with you and drove off somewhere secluded and told you to take the car and drive because he had to leave Kildare for a while and didn’t know how long he’d be gone, you refused and said you weren’t leaving and asked him what was wrong, he explained that the case for Sheriff Peterkin was reopened because of new evidence showing he was the one responsible for the murder, so you switched phones with him and told him you’d met him at the fish shack
You drove off distracting the police and he ran to the fish shack where Rose explained what his father had been doing before his death, you got arrested for helping him evade police but got released
you guys got helped by the pogues to flee, you and Rafe said ur goodbyes and he told Sarah he was sorry he couldn’t be there to meet her baby, his nephew, when it’s born. He also apologized for everything else he’s done in the past to John b and the pogues.
You and Rafe alone fled to South America on a boat with enough food and fuel to get somewhere safe.
