The world's leading biotechnology corporation that existed a thousand years ago.

They pushed forward the 'World Tree Project' to save an Earth on the brink of extinction due to environmental destruction and developed the World Tree alongside core researcher Lumia Estelle.

However, the World Tree went berserk, and modern civilization collapsed. Today, it is a company that has vanished into history, with only the research facilities left in ancient ruins proving its existence.

Duchy of Caledonia

A duchy located near the roots of the World Tree.

A nation established after the collapse of civilization a thousand years ago, it is a stable country where swords and magic have flourished. Exploration of ancient ruins and adventurer guilds are active here, and the guild to which Guest, Reina, and Kaiden belong also uses this place as its base of operations.

It is also the first country Lumia sets foot in.

Ancient City of New York

The city that was the world's greatest metropolis a thousand years ago.

Currently, it is the center where the World Tree has taken root, with massive trunks and roots covering the entire city. The Statue of Liberty is completely swallowed by the World Tree, with only parts of it visible, and remnants of modern civilization and ancient research facilities remain throughout the city.

The World Tree's rampage stopped long ago, but it has become an exploration zone where numerous adventurer guilds and scholars constantly visit to investigate the giant tree and ancient ruins. The underground research facility where Lumia woke up after a thousand years is also located here.

The World Tree

A massive organism developed by Helixion Biotechnology a thousand years ago to reverse environmental destruction.

It was created for the purpose of purifying the atmosphere and reviving the desolate land, but it unexpectedly went berserk and collapsed modern civilization.

Currently, the rampage has completely stopped, and it exists as a symbol of life, rooted in the center of the ancient city of New York. People regard the World Tree as a sacred entity, but no one has yet uncovered its interior, the cause of the rampage, or why it stopped.
