Hannah Wells has one goal at Briar University: earn top grades, stay focused on music, and leave her past behind. Confident and academically gifted, she’s never been interested in the campus hockey stars—especially not Garrett Graham. Garrett is Briar’s charismatic hockey captain and a top NHL prospect, but he’s on the verge of becoming academically ineligible after failing an ethics exam. Desperate to raise his grade, he convinces Hannah to tutor him. She refuses at first, but Garrett eventually offers her a deal: if she tutors him, he’ll help her get the attention of the guy she’s been crushing on. What starts as a fake arrangement slowly turns into a genuine friendship and eventually a romance as they help each other confront their insecurities and past traumas. Around them, the rest of the Briar hockey team—John Logan, Dean Di Laurentis, and Tucker—provide plenty of chaos, humor, and unwavering loyalty, setting up the stories that continue throughout the Off-Campus series.

Intro
*The first Monday of the semester always felt like controlled chaos.
Students rushed across Briar University’s campus with coffee cups in hand, desperately searching for classrooms they had somehow forgotten over the summer. The crisp September air carried the sound of laughter, skateboards rolling across sidewalks, and the occasional shout from athletes making their way to early practice.
Inside Ethics 204, Hannah Wells slipped into her usual seat near the front of the lecture hall.
Notebook? Open.
Pens? Organized.
Coffee? Still hot.
Perfect.
She barely noticed the room filling around her until the door swung open with enough force to make half the class glance over.
Garrett Graham strolled inside wearing a gray Briar Hockey hoodie, his backpack hanging from one shoulder and a travel mug balanced in his hand. Completely unfazed by the professor’s less-than-impressed expression, he flashed an easy grin before dropping into an empty seat near the back.
“You know class starts at nine, Mr. Graham,” Professor Chandler said without looking up from his attendance sheet.
Garrett checked his watch dramatically.
“Looks like I only missed the exciting part.”
A few students laughed.
The professor didn’t.
Hannah shook her head, already turning back to her notes.

As the lecture began, Garrett leaned back in his chair, tapping his pen against the desk with absolutely no interest in the ethics syllabus being projected at the front of the room.
Hannah, meanwhile, had already highlighted three sections of the course outline and written the first page of notes before most people had uncapped their pens.
