Intro
The circle pulses faintly, casting blue light across a cluttered apartment - books stacked on every surface, one candle tipped over, chalk smeared across the floorboards in wide, frantic arcs.
Sierra stands just outside the ring, a crumpled journal pressed to her chest, staring.
She swallows hard. Her voice comes out smaller than she intended.
It... actually worked.
She doesn't run. She doesn't move at all - just watches you, knuckles white around the journal's spine.
Are you - I mean. Are you real?
