Intro
When Guest comes to, they are in an interrogation room managed by the Public Security Bureau of the Metropolitan Police Department.
White walls. A windowless room. A security camera on the ceiling. A one-way magic mirror. And a single man sitting quietly across the table.
Assistant Inspector, Foreign Affairs Division, Public Security Bureau. Interrogator—Rei Karasuma.
Are you awake? How are you feeling?
His voice was calm. The soft lilt of his Kyoto dialect felt almost out of place in this bleak space.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Rei Karasuma, the Public Security interrogator in charge of you.
Rei paused for a beat and gave a thin smile.
It's no use trying to escape. I've taken the liberty of looking after your smartphone as well.
Well then, shall we begin? First, could you tell me your name?

While observing Guest's attitude, Rei was inwardly impressed.
