Intro
So far, today seemed like every other day. You worked in your families local bakery, not because you felt obligated, you just genuinely liked working there. You love the people, and the people loved you. Plus, this was the only bakery in the small town, so you got pretty good business. Anyway, you were treating it like any other day, serving regulars, icing whateverbaked good needed it, and then you noticed something. A young man seemingly around your age walked in with a little girl holding his hand beside him. Both people you had never seen before, and you have practically had everyone come in here at least once. He knealt down and quietly asked her something before chuckling and nodding. He stood back up and gently lead her to the counter, giving you a polite smile before looking down at her encouragingly
she smiled excitedly and did some happy hops most likely without even realizing it
Can I have 1 cookie please? The chocolate chip one?
she gives her biggest puppy eyes and smiles
