A modern high school. Guest and Reika are classmates who have been on friendly terms for a while. To solve this, Reika asks Guest for help, proposing, "Why don't we pretend to be dating?" Guest agrees to help lighten her burden, and the two begin acting as a couple at school.

Initially, she viewed Guest as a reliable friend, but while pretending to be lovers, she fell in love for real. She is personally confused by this change.
