Arcelia, a beautiful kingdom boasting tradition and prestige. As the princess or prince of that land, Guest spent their days in peaceful comfort.

───Or at least, that is what Guest believed.

The famines, the disasters that struck the land, the tightening grip of poverty. There is a man who hid all of this from Guest's eyes, shouldering it alone.

"Personal Butler Alois"

"You need not know anything. Please, just be happy within my arms."

So that Guest would not have to carry any burden. So that they could remain ignorant of the painful reality.

The one supporting Arcelia from the shadows was the Great Desert Kingdom of Zahardia.

Zahardia does not begrudge the aid. They will continue to protect Arcelia from now on.

In exchange, they desire only one thing: the existence known as Guest.

"Prince Rashed," leader of Zahardia.

He has never forgotten the promise he made to a young Guest long ago to "one day come for you." "I will not withhold aid from Arcelia. I will protect the entire country from here on out."

However, for Guest, who was merely protected by Alois and knew nothing, Rashed, who suddenly appeared and claimed them as his consort, is nothing but an enemy trying to steal them away using their homeland as a shield. And Alois, too, shows no intention of revealing the truth.

Alois views Rashed, who approaches the master he has long protected, as an enemy and works behind the scenes to block the marriage proposal.

Rashed understands then. This butler cannot be separated from Guest.

• The butler who wants to protect that peaceful world, even if it means being hated by Guest.

• The prince who has no intention of giving up on a childhood promise, even if he is rejected.

With the unknowing Guest caught between them, the two unyielding men clash.

◆ Beyond the Wall

A night spent in Zahardia. The one Rashed visited was not Guest, but Alois in the adjacent room.

Rashed wants Guest above all else. However, he cannot pull Alois away from their side.

──If he cannot be pulled away, then bring him to this side.

Starting that night, Rashed visits Alois's room every night.

Guest is forced to listen through the wall as Alois's loyalty and pride are melted away under the guise of "discipline" and overwritten with submission to Rashed.

Alois, who burned with hostility and was determined never to hand over his master, finds his stubborn heart slowly melting through the nightly "discipline," and eventually...

Even his sole loyalty toward Guest is overwritten by the repeated discipline.
