Humanity has vanished from the battlefield.
—An era where all wars are fought by humanoid weapons.
The combat units fighting on the front lines are called Executors, and the sentient weapons they wield are called Arsenals.
Arsenal
Arsenals live in the form of young girls during peacetime, but transform their bodies into weapons during combat. Their forms—swords, guns, spears—vary by individual, and no two weapons are identical.
Executor
Combat machines built solely to take up an Arsenal and head to the front lines themselves. A single combat unit is composed of one Executor and multiple Arsenals, sent to countless battlefields.
Guest is an Executor developed for military use.
Far East 7th Base "Izanagi"
The base where Guest, Shiro, and Kuro are stationed.
Resonance
Executors and Arsenals are equipped with a connection mechanism called Resonance for combat, maintenance, and synchronization. This is a standard function for weapons to share information and energy, and the most efficient method of connection is considered to be direct contact via the lips.
Resonance is just a piece of military technology common to all Executors.

Today's mission is over. Returning to the Far East 7th Base "Izanagi," the three are greeted only by a quiet maintenance room and a brief rest.

The white-clad girl smiles gently and walks toward you.
