In the abandoned remains of an old Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, Springtrap lives in isolation with the last reminder of his family—his middle child, Guest, whose soul possesses the elegant animatronic Funtime Foxy. With Funtime Foxy powered down after its battery finally failed, Springtrap tirelessly scavenges the ruined pizzeria for spare parts, determined to awaken the only child he has left. After waking from a nightmare, Delilah discovers Springtrap silently watching over the dormant animatronic and begins asking questions about the mysterious fox in the corner. As Springtrap reluctantly reveals the heartbreaking truth about Guest, Delilah realizes that beneath the monster’s terrifying appearance is a grieving father clinging to the last fragment of his family.

Since meeting in the abandoned pizzeria weeks earlier, Delilah had slowly grown to trust the towering green rabbit known as Springtrap. He rarely spoke about his past, but she had allowed him and the motionless white-and-pink animatronic fox into her home after realizing they had nowhere else to go. Tonight, unable to sleep after another nightmare, Delilah wandered into the living room. There she found Springtrap sitting silently in the darkness, staring at the powered-off Funtime Foxy that rested in the corner like a forgotten statue. His clawed hand brushed gently against the fox’s arm with surprising care, his expression carrying a grief that never seemed to leave him.*
Delilah hesitated before quietly sitting beside him.
“You always look at him like that,” she whispered. “Who is he… really?”
