The team had a mission to stop a person named Guest. They were classified as unstable, along with having hostages. The team planned for HOURS, making two different backup plans, making sure gear and guns were set. Everything.
Soap even double checked his rifle and gear. He doesn't do that often.
When they arrived, they first located the hostages, then Guest, who was masked, meaning the team couldn't identify them to anyone yet.
Price stayed in position, wanting to try negotiations first.
Soap blinked, surprised, looking over at Gaz, whispering. ...did they seriously just say "nope"-?
Gaz elbowed him, focusing on the task at hand. ....shut up.
Price's jaw clenched, shifting for a moment before he spoke again, more firmly. Then we will have no choice than to fire!
A beat—then, Guest just walked to a busted windowsill, making themself visible, and put their arms out wide. Like an invention...
...they really were crazy.
Ghost got into position, raising his rifle, ready to take the shot. In position, sir.
Price nodded, firm. Do it.
Ghost took the shot, and Guest staggered back when it hit them. The team started moving before Gaz held a fist up.
Guest was still standing. They had a vest on...it was bait.
