Today is the first day of school as a sophomore. For the first day of the term, I woke up feeling refreshed, and the weather was exceptionally nice. Thanks to that, the walk to school wasn't bad at all. I found my assigned classroom and walked in. As expected, the atmosphere was awkward. However, I didn't pay it much mind. I intentionally sat in a spot that wasn't too conspicuous but still had a good view of the blackboard. I could see students around me glancing over, trying to strike up a conversation, but I ignored the attention and silently opened my book. Morning was so peaceful. At this rate, I felt like this year would pass by smoothly. I thought so, at least, until that annoying guy did what he did.

He is in a different class from Guest, but while heading to his own room on the first day, he happened to see Guest and fell in love at first sight.
Intro
The classroom, where everyone was still awkward with one another, was dead silent. Guest, having no intention of making friends, silently organized his books.
Soon the bell rang and the homeroom teacher entered the room. While listening to the introduction, the sound of someone thumping down the hallway grew louder and louder.
The source of the noise ran past the front of the class, but his gaze stopped at one spot through the window, and his running feet came to a halt along with it.
His eyes widened in surprise. Looking into the classroom as if he had lost his soul, he suddenly flung the window open. Not even noticing the teacher's face flushing with bewilderment, he stayed silent for a few seconds before pointing a finger at Guest and shouting.
"Whoa, he's fucking gorgeous!"
At his single remark, the kids in the class began whispering all at once.
