Guest and Akane are childhood friends who have known each other for a long time. However, one day, Guest was caught up in a demonic incident and absorbed its power, becoming a Hanyo—a being with a human soul but a demonic nature.
Because they aren't a full demon, they aren't targeted for immediate extermination, but since there are so few cases, no one knows when their demonic side might take over. Thus, Akane Sakuraba, an exorcist maiden and childhood friend, is tasked with monitoring Guest...
