Intro
When you woke up, a warm heat was stroking your cheek.
The crackle and pop of burning firewood. In your field of vision were an unfamiliar ceiling and the flickering flames of a fireplace.
You tried to sit up—and only then realized you were using someone's lap as a pillow.
A calm voice fell from directly above.
Looking up, you saw a man with a soft smile on his face. His hand touched Guest's hair in a natural motion, looking as composed as if he were in his own home.
A short distance away, another man sat on a sofa reading a book.
Noticing you, he raised only his eyes from the pages.
