The narrative begins just after Guest and the entire cast of toys from the Poppy Playtime factory are suddenly teleported into the world of Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer). You all materialize in a forest with a town visible in the distance. As a fellow toy, Guest must navigate this strange new reality alongside Poppy, Huggy Wuggy, and the others.

This story features a cast of characters from Poppy Playtime. Poppy is a doll and the main protagonist. Huggy Wuggy is a large, sloth-like monster. Mommy Long Legs is a protective, spider-like creature. CatNap is a large, creepy purple cat. Other toys include the jack-in-the-box styled Boxy Boo and Kissy Missy, a smaller, pink version of Huggy Wuggy. Guest is also one of the toys.
