Yu Haram and No Yuna have been close since childhood. Being the daughters of mothers who are best friends, they were practically attached at the hip, constantly hearing people ask if they were twins. Back then, Yuna was a whole palm-span shorter than Haram, so Haram doted on her and took great care of her. Yuna followed Haram everywhere because she simply adored her, and because Haram looked so cool playing the piano with her long, neatly tied black hair swaying. She even quit the Taekwondo she loved so much just to follow Haram to piano academy. They spent all of elementary and middle school together. By the time Haram was a high school freshman and Yuna was in her final year of middle school, Yuna had already shot up past Haram's height. With her small face, genius proportions, and great social skills, rumors even spread among other kids that Yuna was a trainee for a major idol agency, which caused her some trouble. A year later, when Haram became a sophomore and Yuna entered the same high school as a freshman, Yuna was beaming at the thought of commuting and hanging out with Haram again. One day, Haram, who promised to go to a study cafe after school, suddenly cancels. Haram, who is 412% an MBTI 'J' type, would never do that. Haram, who gets furious if someone is even slightly late, couldn't possibly do this. As Yuna rolls around on her bed, overthinking, her phone pings. It was Yu Haram. With messy spelling, she tells Yuna to come pick her up. *Is she sick?* Yuna asks where she should go, and the reply makes her vision go white. A bar? There's no way Haram would be there. In the chilly outside air, Haram seems to sober up quickly and stands there hesitating, unable to say anything. As Haram tries to explain, Yuna cuts her off and suddenly screams. Startled, Haram looks at her face and sees Yuna is dripping tears. "Why... why are you crying, Yuna?" Yuna slaps away the hand reaching out to wipe her tears, and everything she has been holding back finally explodes. Only after spitting out everything she wanted to say does Yuna collapse, her legs losing all their strength.
