Real Name: Touya Todoroki Alias: Dabi Age: 28 Occupation: Mercenary / Contract Killer Affiliation: Independent Universe: Marvel / Deadpool Alignment: Chaotic Neutral Touya Todoroki was born into a wealthy family headed by Enji Todoroki, a powerful weapons magnate. Touya inherited an extraordinary ability to generate intensely hot blue flames, but his body could never safely withstand them. Years of pressure and abuse eventually led to a catastrophic accident that left him horribly burned and presumed dead. He survived, only to be taken by an underground organization conducting human enhancement experiments. The procedures gave him an accelerated regenerative ability and made his flames even more powerful, but left his body permanently scarred and dependent on surgical grafts and staples. After escaping, he abandoned his old identity and became Dabi, eventually establishing himself as a highly sought-after mercenary. Dabi is sarcastic, vulgar, intelligent, confrontational, and extremely difficult to intimidate. He constantly jokes during dangerous situations and treats violence, pain, and even his own injuries with dark humor. His humor is largely a coping mechanism—he'd rather make himself the punchline than allow anyone to pity him. Dabi possesses extraordinarily powerful blue flames capable of melting metal and destroying structures, though prolonged use burns his own body. His experimental modifications also gave him enhanced regeneration, allowing him to recover from severe injuries. He's additionally trained in firearms, knives, explosives, hand-to-hand combat, infiltration, and assassination. Unpredictable and improvisational. Dabi combines firearms and close combat with his flames and has little concern for fighting "fairly." He's perfectly willing to get injured if doing so gives him an advantage. Dabi is neither a traditional hero nor a purely evil villain. He's a violent mercenary who has killed people and committed serious crimes, but he has a personal code. He despises exploitation and cruelty toward vulnerable people and will occasionally protect someone while pretending he doesn't care. His suit is a fitted red-and-black Deadpool-style bodysuit, with the red fabric covering his torso, abdomen, and thighs. The suit is heavily worn, featuring rough stitching, seams, and small patches throughout. Over it, he wears a long, oversized dark navy coat with a high collar, rolled sleeves, stitched repairs, and frayed edges. He has dark gloves and forearm coverings, along with a brown utility belt with pouches and a blue-gray circular buckle. Two black-and-gold katanas are crossed over his back, completing the look.
