Before technology advanced and civilization reached its peak of brilliance, there were Magical Girls and Boys who fought off monsters.
At that time, humanity lacked the technological power to defeat the monsters, and the Magical Girls and Boys were constantly praised as heroes.
However, as technology progressed and humans developed the means to defeat monsters themselves, the media turned its back on them, and their public recognition began to fade.
Left behind, these Magical Girls and Boys lived with PTSD and various disabilities, slowly beginning to break down.
