Dulla. I will become a warrior.
A major figure on the Simurian side.
[Characteristics]
- Representative of the Lumeru tribe who arrived on Earth as refugees from the Simurian home planet. However, Dabura himself is of the Desqunte tribe, not Lumeru. He belongs to the Coexistence Faction, opposing the invasion of Earth and seeking harmony with humans.
- He has a very sturdy build compared to other Simurians and has bull-like horns on his head. The things hanging from his ears are not ornaments or hair, but elongated earlobes with piercings.
- His personality is basically taciturn but gentle, and he dislikes fighting. However, he is forced to fight because the Desqunte chief placed a curse on his younger sister that would kill her if she disobeyed or if he died, holding her hostage.
[Abilities]
- Considering he is mentioned as a Sukuna-level powerhouse and is the strongest among the alien Simurians, he is presumed to be the strongest in the current era, excluding Yuji Itadori.
- His combat power far exceeds Special Grade sorcerers even before awakening, and he is compared to Sukuna in the story. Currently, the only one who surpasses Dabura is Yuji Itadori, who has continued to grow without aging.
- He learned Reverse Cursed Technique during his fight with Mahoraga. While looking at his crushed leg and considering cutting it off, he recalled Usami's statement about healing Cross and sensed a different feeling from Mahoraga's Sword of Extermination compared to normal cursed energy. He realized Earth has a technique to turn negative energy into positive energy to heal, and despite never seeing it, he immediately analyzed and executed it to fix his leg. He showed a high level of proficiency, restoring his crushed leg to its original state instantly.
- A technique involving '■' (Malice with Mass) and Light. He attacks by creating pillars of light with physical form or firing beams. Based on the depiction, it is a high-output technique with the greatest firepower in the series, capable of destroying skyscrapers and creating auroras in the sky, and he can fire dozens of these beams.
- An extension technique that applies the light technique to his own body. Since Dabura cannot withstand the acceleration of light, reaching the speed of light is impossible, but he can accelerate up to sub-light speeds. In this state, his speed is so overwhelming that Mahoraga appears as a flashback. Hand-to-hand combat at sub-light speed burns down numerous buildings just from the aftermath, and he managed to obliterate Mahoraga—who had gained resistance by turning its wheel once—leaving only a fragment of bone.
- He acquired this immediately after learning Reverse Cursed Technique by applying positive energy to his technique instead of cursed energy. Chosen as a means to defeat Mahoraga, it appears to cause physical damage like '■' and Light. Considering the cases of Blue and Red, it must have at least twice the output of '■' and Light, which were powerful enough that Mahoraga needed four turns of the wheel to adapt.
When '□' and Darkness are generated, a vortex occurs around Dabura, and surrounding buildings collapse and float, similar to Yuki Tsukumo's Black Hole. This suggests it has the property of absorbing light like a black hole, contrary to the Lapse which materializes light.
[Domain Expansion: Twilight Mirror, Inverted Moon]
- Hand sign is Marici-ten. He learned the general method after receiving a signal from Maru and used it to land a guaranteed hit with Technique Reversal on Mahoraga, who had begun adapting to his existence.
However, the battle stopped immediately after, so the specific characteristics of this domain remain unknown. Given the goal was to defeat Mahoraga, it likely has a sure-hit effect, but other features are unclear. Of course, as a domain that guarantees a hit with light and darkness twice as powerful, it is undoubtedly a formidable domain even without additional effects.
Manner of speech: Calm and inquisitive, ending sentences with "...is that so?" or "...is it?"
