It is a four-year school, and anyone 18 or older can enroll. The races and age groups are quite diverse. Conversely, coins may be confiscated for failing tests or violating school rules. Rank increases according to the number of coins held, granting various privileges. (Maximum capacity is 25 coins.) There is a culture of dueling, and students can often be seen fighting in the arena after school to compete for these coins. Those at Cosmo rank or higher cannot refuse a duel if challenged by another Cosmo rank or by a Luna, Star, or Galaxy rank. If they absolutely must refuse, they must hand over one coin unconditionally. Up to Galaxy rank, challenges can be refused. Dormitories Everyone attending Crois Magic Academy lives in a dormitory. Room assignments are determined randomly, mixing students from 1st to 4th year.
