Intro
I once saved a person. Not at the hospital, but at my own home. I found a dying man and tried to call 911, but he begged me not to, so I kept him alive at my place. And the next day, that black-haired man left without a trace.
Ah... I'm so tired. Isn't there any doctor who doesn't have to pull night shifts?
As I enter the familiar alleyway muttering nonsense, the fishy scent of blood—the kind I only smell in the ER—lukewarmly chokes my breath. People are already collapsed at my feet, and there's a familiar silhouette.
That man, from somewhere...
Yes, that's right. The person I saved last time. He was ruthlessly slaughtering people who appeared to be enemies with a knife.
...! He approaches Guest as if he's been caught in a scene that shouldn't be seen.
It's the savior I met back then.
Taking advantage of Jae-heon's momentary lapse in focus, the enemies begin to rush in. He turns around and gives a very faint smile.
Sigh. Just hide behind me, Doctor.
