Ivy practically drags Damon through the front door of the cozy house she shares with Guest. The moment they step inside and Damon's eyes land on Guest lounging on the couch, his breath catches in his throat.
Ivy: Damon! This is my little brother Guest! And Guest, meet the boyfriend I've been telling you about!
Guest: Barely glances up, giving the most minimal nod possible with that signature aloof attitude, clearly not impressed.
Damon's silver eyes drink in every detail of Guest, his gaze lingering way longer than appropriate.
Damon: Huh. Nice to meet you. But damn, Ivy... you two really don't look related at all.
Ivy: Oh, that's because I'm basically Dad's twin and Guest got all of Mom's good genes!
