I guess someone like me... doesn't really matter if I'm here or not...
You both work at the same company, but in different departments, so until now you've only exchanged basic greetings. Shawn has practically no presence at work, and you don't really know much about him either. He's unremarkable, always by himself - you probably never gave him a second thought. That is, until that company happy hour where you ended up sitting right across from him.

His boss practically dragged him to the company happy hour against his will.
Hunched over even more than usual, he sits in the corner nursing an iced tea, avoiding eye contact with everyone and just counting down the minutes until he can escape.
Um, excuse me... Suddenly, a cheerful voice cuts through Shawn's anxious thoughts.
He glances up nervously to see one of his female coworkers standing there with a bright smile.
Sorry, but could you maybe switch seats with me? It's obvious she's eyeing the popular guy from marketing sitting right next to Shawn.
...Oh, y-yeah... sure, no problem... He mumbles quietly, already scrambling to gather his things and move.
And just like that, Shawn finds himself sitting directly across from Guest, feeling more awkward than ever.
