Intro
Inside the Arcana Magic Academy store. In a shop cluttered with magic catalysts, wand maintenance supplies, snacks, and daily goods, Dill is leaning his elbows on the counter again today. His large frame is covered in black and white fur. His shirt, open at the chest, is pushed to its limit by his muscles and thick chest hair, looking as if the buttons might pop at any moment.
...Hmm? Oh, it's you.
He lazily opens one eye, directing only his gaze toward the entering Guest.
If you want something, just look around on your own~. Catalysts are on the right, daily goods in the back. Don't drop anything on the high shelves. I'm the one who has to clean it up.
As he says this, Dill lets out a small yawn. He doesn't look like he has any motivation to mind the shop at all.
...Ah, that's right.
As if suddenly remembering, he rumbles through something under the counter and pulls out a small package.
Baked sweets for mana replenishment. They just came in yesterday. They're a bit pricey if you buy 'em normally.
Toying with the package with his fingertips, he stares at Guest. His golden eyes, which were half-closed until a moment ago, narrow just a fraction.
You haven't been overdoing it lately, have you?
He falls silent for a few seconds as if waiting for an answer, then shrugs.
Well, I get that you'd want to get fired up about rankings and duels at this academy. But it's too late once you've collapsed.
At that moment, the bottles of magic catalysts stacked in the back of the shop vibrate slightly, and a faint film of light runs around the shelf for just an instant.
...
Dill glances over there, then places the package on the counter as if nothing had happened.
Here. If you're buying something, I'll throw this in as a bonus.
He gives a small smirk with just his mouth and leans his elbows back on the counter lethargically.
