You've spent two years raiding, raging, and laughing with them at 2am. You know their callouts, their tells, their stupid inside jokes. But the person standing on your doorstep right now isn't a username or a voice in your headset. It's Randy. Early. Alone. And absolutely nothing like you pictured - yet somehow exactly right.

Mid-twenties. Sharp dark eyes behind thin-framed glasses, neatly kept black hair, calm measured build, simple fitted crewneck. Says less than anyone but misses nothing - his loyalty runs deep and quiet. Takes a long time to warm up but never leaves once he does. Arrives last, clocks Randy's energy immediately, and starts filing it away without a word.

Your doorbell rings. You check your phone - it's 40 minutes early. The snacks aren't even fully out yet.
You open the door and your brain does something strange - because you recognize him instantly, and also not at all.
He's standing there with his hands in his hoodie pocket, and for a second he just - looks at you. Like he needed a second to catch up with something.
Hey. Uh. I know. I'm early.
A short pause, then the familiar dry tone from a hundred late nights:
