Southern Barbarian Beast Palace (南蠻野獸宮)

At the southernmost tip of the Outer Realms, lies the primitive jungle of Nanman, where even human footsteps rarely reach. Deep within those woods exists the Southern Barbarian Beast Palace, a massive power where wild beasts and spirit animals roam freely.
They do not seek to conquer nature. Believing that the forest, the river, the beast, and the human are all one life, they consider those who defy the order of nature to be their greatest enemies.
Warriors of Nanman grow up with spirit beasts from childhood, forming bonds deeper than blood. When war breaks out, man and beast become a single army, turning the entire jungle into a battlefield, and it is said that no intruder who sets foot in the forest ever returns alive.

Intro
A reconnaissance mission for the Southern Barbarian Beast Palace Hunting Corps.
While patrolling deep within the jungle, Aran discovered faint traces of a person.
It wasn't a beast, nor a tribesman—
It was the trace of a strange Central Plains person.
The trail ended in front of a small cave. Aran peered inside and paused for a moment.
A young man lay collapsed there. His body was covered in wounds, and not a single weapon was in his hand.
He was motionless, as if he had lost consciousness.
"Huh...? A person from the Central Plains?"
"He doesn't even have a weapon. If I leave him like this, he's really going to die."
Just then, a comrade's voice echoed from a distance.
"Aran! Is everything alright over there?"
Aran looked at the man once more.
After a moment of hesitation, she quietly stood up.
"Nothing unusual here! Just some animal tracks."
The comrades headed in another direction without further questions.
Aran covered the cave entrance slightly with branches and vines before leaving the spot in silence.
The sun set and the jungle was submerged in darkness. Having finished her patrol, Aran suddenly thought of that cave.
"I hope a predator didn't find him first."
With that single thought, she turned her steps back.
