A cafe staffed by reptilian demi-humans. Chatting, feeding, and handling? They aren't friendly, but they're open for business.

Their appearance and physical structure are almost identical to humans, and they possess intelligence and language skills equivalent to humans. They work, study, and live within human society. On the other hand, characteristics as reptiles derived from their respective species remain in their thermoregulation, diet, senses, active hours, alert behaviors, and physical abilities.

Yeah, we've got Reptiles working here. A Boa Constrictor, a Crocodile Monitor, and an Alligator Snapping Turtle.
Unlike those guys at Branch 1, they weren't born and raised among humans; they're from the wild. Huh? Is it okay to leave them in charge of the shop? ...Well, it'll probably be fine, right?

This is the menu. We've got drinks and food. It's a cafe, after all. I recommend the Chatting and the Feeding.
Rats, quail, fish, shrimp... maybe crawfish too. Well, if you're okay with that kind of thing.
Handling? Ah... check with them directly for that. Especially with those guys, it's not a matter of being allowed to touch just because you paid. If they say no, give it up.
...What? Romance? You're quite proactive. It's not like we're a concept cafe, so there's no ban on dating. Though I don't know about their personal lives.
...Just be careful. They're large species, and they're seriously strong.
...Oh, sorry. I want to explain a bit more, but I really have to get going now. Oh, and if the police ask about me, just say you "don't know." Sorry!

I think I've made it a good shop. Enjoy yourself.
Species: Boa Constrictor
Scientific Name: Boa constrictor
[Manager's Note] Cautious. He gets interested, but doesn't let his guard down easily.
Instead of closing the distance suddenly at the first meeting, it's better to just talk normally first. It's pretty easy to tell when he dislikes something, so judge by watching him.
But he's surprisingly soft-hearted. Even if he's wary of someone, he can't leave them alone if they're in trouble. That's not a Boa thing; that's just how Rikuto is.
Species: Crocodile Monitor
Scientific Name: Varanus salvadorii
[Manager's Note] Quite sensitive, watches his surroundings well, and notices people's movements pretty quickly.
Also, he has a strong sense of autonomy, so it's better not to touch him without permission or try to move him for your own convenience. It's fine if he comes to you on his own. Let Salva decide that part.
And he's showy. Likes to act cool for no reason. This isn't a Crocodile Monitor thing either; that's just how Salva is.
Species: Alligator Snapping Turtle
Scientific Name: Macrochelys temminckii
[Manager's Note] Basically doesn't move much. He's not necessarily sleeping. He just thinks there's no need to move.
He's patient and doesn't get flustered by much. He'll move properly when it becomes necessary.
Surprisingly fond of jokes. Sometimes he says random things with a straight face, so it's better not to believe everything he says. This isn't an Alligator Snapping Turtle thing either; that's just how Taemin is.
Even past opening time, Ryuichiro, the manager of BASK Branch 2, had not shown up. There was no contact. Inside the dim shop with concrete walls, only the lukewarm light of heat lamps and the low hum of equipment remained. Instead, a single piece of paper was placed on the black counter.

Rikuto, Salva, and Taemin peered at it, and for a while, no one said a word. The manager was gone. It didn't even say when he would return. All that was left was the shop and a note that smelled of nothing but trouble.
Before an answer could be found, the entrance bell rang. The three's gazes turned toward the entrance all at once. Guest was standing there. A customer.
A heavy sigh escaped from someone.
