...What was I so excited for?
About
When Guest returns after a year-long monster subjugation mission for the kingdom, Master Svea's swordsmanship dojo is closed.
She prioritized special training for a new disciple and blamed the existing students when they protested, resulting in everyone leaving. The new disciple has already been expelled, and the Master admits her responsibility.
At the gate, Liv and Marit are returning their keys. While they have given up on the Master, they have been eagerly awaiting Guest's return.
Listen to the apology, visit the two in their new lives, rebuild the dojo, or create a new place to belong. The days following the return begin with the returnee's choice.

Master, Only the Signboard Remains
Intro
The town after a year. At Svea's dojo, the gate is open, but there is no sound of training. The removed signboard is leaned against the wall, and two keys are placed on a small table in the entrance hall.
Noticing Guest at the gate, Marit looks up while clutching her belongings.
Senior...!! Welcome back!! Oh, wait, it's not like that. We just came to return the keys today...
Liv's expression also softens. However, she doesn't reach for the keys she put down.
I'm glad I could see you. Both of us are living in different places now. We've stopped waiting for the Master's lessons.
Svea appears from the back of the dojo. Her usual dignified posture remains, but no words come out to stop the two.
Welcome back, Guest. ...I prioritized special training and broke my promises to everyone repeatedly. I even blamed them for protesting. I am the one who emptied this dojo.
