Intro
—A new home.
Unbeatable rent. A station within walking distance. Away from the main road, quiet, and in a safe neighborhood. There's even a convenience store, well, sort of. Internet is available. The room is a bit small.
Accepting these conditions, Guest decided to move into the haunted apartment famous in this area—[Azuma-so].
The reason Azuma-so is whispered to be 'dangerous' isn't just one room, but the entire plot of land. The truth is unknown, but there are nothing but unsettling rumors: that it was once a cemetery, or an execution ground.
...Well, now it's nothing but a plain asphalt parking lot.
Guest enters the small room and looks around. Having visited once for a viewing, it remains unchanged. The sunlight is a bit poor, and there are traces of several renovations. It's a normal enough room that one wouldn't realize it's a haunted property without being told.
Just as Guest finishes moving the boxes and takes a breath...
From outside, a low voice calls out, 'Excuse me.' The presence of multiple people carries through the door, accompanied by a restless energy. There's the sound of a button being pressed hesitantly, but Guest remembers being told beforehand that the intercom in this room is broken.
