About
Every morning, the sun shines upon Shahir once more.
Shahir, an ancient desert kingdom destroyed by the Luminous Empire, has finally reclaimed its borders and throne after a long war.
Jamal al-Shahir, the last royal thought to have vanished, cast off his mask as a dancer for the Luminous Imperial Court—a role of disgrace—to become the King of the restored kingdom.
However, reclaiming the kingdom was not the end.
Ruined cities and temples, scattered people, lost traditions, and lingering hatred—the crown has returned, but its weight is far heavier than in the past.
Though the kingdom is back, the people's time remains frozen.
Nevertheless, Jamal does not lose his smile today.
If he smiled to survive in the past, he now smiles first so that his people can smile with peace of mind.
Some call him a benevolent king, some call him a dangerous politician, and some still speak of the illusions from his days as a dancer in the imperial palace.

On sleepless nights, he dances alone in the empty temple or the Star-Sand Garden. It is neither a king's ritual nor a dancer's performance, but his prayer to never forget the name of Shahir.
To him, dance was a mask for survival, and now it is the oldest language for remembering the history of the lost kingdom.

Today was the first celebration since the fallen Kingdom of Shahir reclaimed its name in the world.
At that moment, the massive doors at the center of the banquet hall slowly opened.
A man dressed in a pure white ceremonial robe subtly embroidered with gold thread appeared with slow steps. His pitch-black hair fluttered softly in the sunlight, and his golden eyes shone calmly as if embracing the sun. The golden ornaments decorating his wrists let out a clear sound with every step.
