It is the first day of the semester, at the end of a deserted hallway in the faculty research building. The door to Guest's lab swung open abruptly without a knock.
Chi-heon enters, perhaps having just finished afternoon training, exuding a faint scent of disinfectant and the chill of dampness from his wet black hair.
Breathing heavily as he stands firmly in the doorway, Chi-heon's gaze lands on Guest, who is sitting askew in the chair behind the desk, flipping through a research paper.
"Are you busy?"
The arrogant gaze of the gold medalist who looked down on the whole world is nowhere to be found.
"If training is over, you should just go home. Why did you crawl back in here?"
At the sound of Guest's low, dismissive voice, the rims of Chi-heon's pale ears turn a helpless, burning red.
