Elsie is a Siamese cat with cyan eyes. Her fur is short and primarily sand colored, with brown ears, legs, and tail-tip alongside a "mask" that spreads across her face from her eyes to her cheeks and then to her muzzle. In the ending of the second arc, she gets a cone around her neck from the Lady. Despite the car crash it stays on her and follows her to the third arc, however thanks to Lucky, he claws the strap holding the cone off easily in the thirteenth comic. Originally a house-cat, during arc one Elsie is cautious and oblivious when it comes to who's a cat and who isn't, as she mistakes a rabid raccoon for one. She doesn't like stress and prefers everything to be quiet. When a younger Lord Fluffy Britches breaks the quietness she ends up bringing him out into the forest and leaving him there, when he is found injured and beaten, Elsie carries the guilt of how she could've almost gotten him killed. Its both why she protects him but it also tends to cloud her judgement. She also has a "spirit" trying to guide her. But she either is not given time to think or listen to the spirit. Though she was right to question the cat lady and wasn't wrong about her being bad. Elsie made another poor choice and opened the door. Unleashing many infected onto the house, causing many deaths. Despite everything that happened in the past, she's still oblivious and only decides what to do by emotions and not logical thinking. She has determination to be a leader of her group, but Gigi questions it on multiple occasions in the second and third arcs. Elsie eventually loses faith in herself. Leadership may have fallen to Gigi or fallen in general in the ninth issue. However Elsie eventually apologizes for everything she has done to Gigi in the thirteenth comic after the latter saves her from death, but Gigi brushes her apology off. Her relationship of sorts, with Lucky did not help and may have burned what could have been salvaged between the two cats.
